Compassion Ministry

For those in crisis situations, the Crossbridge Leadership Team makes referrals to local agencies and community organizations such as ECHO, the Emergency Care Help Organization. ECHO is a Christian service agency that provides essential goods and services to residents of Leon County who are homeless or experiencing critical need. Crossbridge works cooperatively with ECHO and the Leadership Team considers ECHO as one of our primary resources for helping those in need.

If you are a regular attender of Crossbridge, please complete our Financial Assistance Form. A representative from our Leadership Team will follow-up with your request in 3-9 business days.

If you are not a regular attender at Crossbridge, we ask that you visit ECHO and meet with a caseworker there before submitting a Financial Assistance Application to the Leadership Team. You can learn more about how to contact ECHO on their website.

After you submit your application to the Leadership Team you will receive an email confirmation and you will be contacted in 3-9 business days by a member of our team. Please note that our timing in reviewing the financial assistance forms is a three week process and that our program is not set up to help with immediate financial emergencies.

Note: It is the policy of the Leadership Team to provide financial assistance to a person or family up to one time in a calendar year. Exceptions are considered on a case by case basis. The church is not able to provide assistance with legal fees, late fees, taxes, credit card bills, or any expense for which it is deemed that assistance would contribute to an enabling situation for the person/family.
