One of the things that makes Christianity truly different from any faith is its roots in a historical event. Christians don't just believe in some sort of spiritual enlightment or a particular set of teaching. Christianity believes that Jesus Christ died on a cross, was buried, and actually physically rose from the dead. Everything hinges on this central fact. As Paul, a first-century church leader wrote to a group of Christians in Greece 2,000 years ago, "If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith," (1 Corinthians 15:14). He's absolutely right.
Easter is the big event upon which all of Christianity is built. Whether you're a sold-out Christian, a hardened skeptic, or anywhere in between, we invite you to explore Easter with us on April 21 at 10:30am in Oak Ridge Elementary School. At Crossbridge, everyone's welcome, no one's perfect, and we believe that with God, anything is possible.
