    Hometown: Bexley (Columbus), Ohio

Married? My wonderful wife Brittany and I have been married since December 2015. We have no kids and hope to keep it that way until we kick our student loan friends from Navient out.

Favorite Bible Verse: Acts 15:19. "It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it hard for the Gentiles who are turning to God." It's my hope and prayer to lead Crossbridge to be a community that is irresistible to those beginning their journey to re-connect with God.

Favorite Pastime: Probably baking or cooking. When I'm able to do it for others and ensure that all those calories won't end up being consumed by me, all the better. I also enjoy watching just about anything on ESPN or watching The Great British Baking Show for the 92nd time with my wife.

Favorite Music: I actually probably spend more of my time listening to podcasts than music, but I've got pretty wide-ranging tastes. If you grabbed my headphones during a workout, you'd hear Ella Mai, SZA, Death Cab for Cutie, Khalid, Drake, Coldplay, The Album Leaf, Mae, Summer Walker, Jhene Aiko, Billy Joel, or the Fray (among others). The angst-ridden suburban teen in me still listens to Dashboard Confessional sometimes. Don't judge.

Favorite Books: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The Life You Always Wanted and Know Doubt by John Ortberg, and The Thomas Factor by Gary Habermas. The guilty pleasure award in this category goes to The Hunger Games trilogy.

Favorite Stuff to Netflix: The Great British Baking Show, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99, The Office, The Real Housewives of Atlanta (...and Potomac; I know, I have a problem), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Brittany and I are also currently shamelessly watching all 4,000 episodes of Law and Order: SVU and we weirdly enjoy all these Scandanavian and European serial killer/manhunt/heist movies and mini-series on Netflix. When I'm really unwinding (and no one's around), I sometimes watch old episodes of The Golden Girls. (What's wrong with me?)

Favorite Movies: The original Bourne trilogy (don't waste my time with the new ones!), Oceans 11, 12, and 13, The Italian Job, Michael Clayton, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Usual Suspects, Pay It Forward.

Favorite place to eat: Both of the Blackburns are big fans of Liberty on North Monroe.
