Whether you work in a classroom, as an administrator, on the facility staff, or in some other role with our local schools, thank you. We see you and we know that "thank you" is not nearly enough. Our vision for Educators' Day at Crossbridge is that you would leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, and cared for by our Crossbridge community.
We have three specific ways we'd love to honor you.
- By praying for you and thanking you. During our worship gathering, we will have a time to honor all educators in attendance, and a team of people specifically committed to praying for you and your needs. If there is a request we can join you in praying for this year, please let us know here.
- By feeding you. We'll have a (totally free!) homemade brunch after service that you're invited to. You and your family are invited to join us for a meal as our honored guests.
- By blessing (one of) you. We'd love to give a gift to every single person in attendance on this day, but sadly we don't have Jeff Bezos kind of money. But we have been generously blessed by the people at Haven Spa and Wellness with an $80 gift certificate that we'd love to give away to one lucky educator. (Molding the minds of the next generation is great, but hey, sometimes you just need a massage.)
Of course, we're a church. Anytime you go somewhere new, especially a church, it can be easy to feel intimidated or unsure of what to expect. So with that in mind, you can go to this page to get all the first-time info you need. We've tried to anticipate all the questions that a newcomer like yourself might have! And please note that you don't need to be a person of faith or a "religious" person to be welcome here. We just want to offer the invitation to all of you to be appreciated and thanked for all the hard work you do!
That about sums it up! We hope you and your friends can join us for Educators' Day on September 18th! If you have any questions or want any additional info, just drop us an email here. We'd love to help.
