Plan Your Visit

We're so excited to have you join us. Whatever your thoughts on God, faith, Jesus, the Bible, religion, pretty much anything... you are welcome here. We mean it.

Obviously, we're all pretty conscious about safety these days, with a pandemic and all. Your safety is a key priority for us, and you can read about all of the COVID-19 safety precautions we're taking here. Beyond that, keep reading for some answers to frequently asked questions and a general idea of what to expect. If you've got a question for us we didn't answer here, please send us an email! We want to be as helpful as possible so you can relax, connect with God, and enjoy yourself at church. (It is possible. We promise.)

Additionally, before or after service, we invite you to stop by the Hub. We’d love to have a chance to meet you and give you a free gift for joining us!

What to Expect

Going anywhere new can be intimidating, let alone checking out a new church. We’d love to remove some of the anxiety so you can have an awesome experience with us on a Sunday. Below are a few frequently asked questions.

Additionally, before or after service, we invite you to stop by the Hub. We’d love to have a chance to meet you and give you a free gift for joining us!

Where do you guys meet? We meet at Tallahassee Classical School, located at 4141 Artemis Way in Tallahassee.

Where do I park? Parking is available on site next to the building entrance. As our guest, we invite you to park right up front, in the designated first-time guest spots! (We saved the best places for you.)

What should I wear? There is no need to dress up. Seriously. Whether it’s a T-shirt and jeans or shorts and some flip flops, whatever you’d feel comfortable wearing to hang out with your friends is fine here.

What time is your worship service? We start at 10:30 on Sunday mornings, and doors will open for service at 10:15.

What pandemic precautions are there? We've got a full outline available here. But the short version is that we're asking all attendees to wear masks and keep six feet of distance between yourself and those whom you haven't been socializing during the pandemic. We even have wristbands available as you walk in to non-verbally communicate your comfort level with personal contact, whether you're fine with it or you'd prefer people to keep their distance.

How long is this going to take? Our worship services last 65 minutes each week.

What happens in the worship service? Specific elements change from week to week, but you can always expect a brief time of singing songs of thanks to God, a message from the Bible, and a time for all who identify as followers of Jesus to take communion together. We also have a time for those who call Crossbridge home to give a financial offering to our church, but there is absolutely no pressure or expectation for you to give as our guest. We respect each individual’s spiritual journey and hope you will feel free to participate in any or all parts of our worship service as you feel comfortable doing so.

What do I do with my kids? Under normal circumstances, we'd offer kids' ministry environments for those 5th grade and under. For the time being, however, we are not hosting any kids' gatherings as a precaution for both kids and volunteers (though we hope to reinstate those soon). We do have a weekly kids ministry meetup on Zoom. If you and your child(ren) would like to participate in those, please let us know!
